MISSION VIEJO, Calif., February 20 , 2018—Beacon Quality today announced the launch of its Champions for Quality awards campaign for quality management professionals in manufacturing.

“We know quality is an under-appreciated and often thankless job,” says Eric Stoop, Chief Executive Officer for Beacon Quality. “These awards are about recognizing the impact of quality leaders on their organizations, and on the practice of quality management as a whole.”

The contest is open to anyone in the manufacturing industry, whether or not they are Beacon Quality customers. Entries should describe how the individual made an impact on quality for their team or organization.

“We’re looking for inspiring stories about how people have made a meaningful difference, anything from a single achievement to helping turn around a struggling plant," says Stoop. “We’d also love to hear stories about professionals who have dedicated their careers to quality, and learn about early- to mid-career rising stars to watch.”

The deadline for submitting entries is March 30, 2018. Voting will run April 5 through April 19, with the winner announced on April 20. Winners will receive a VIP ticket to the Beacon User Summit on May 8, 2018 in Detroit, as well as a flight voucher worth $250, a gift basket, and two-night stay at the city’s Motor City Casino Hotel.
